OUR STORY
In 2016, we bought Jake's childhood home. We enjoy updating our home, working on our property and spending time with our kids collecting eggs, loving on baby chicks and growing a small flower and vegetable garden.

The kids enjoy picking out seeds to plant, working in the garden, collecting worms, frogs and ladybugs, getting eggs, washing eggs and putting them in cartons.

We had a family meeting and decided to let the kids start selling eggs. They will get paid a small amount for the work they do in collecting and washing their eggs and the rest will go into the bank. This is solely the kids' project with our guidance. All money made will be used to run their small business and start saving for their futures.

After a long list of potential farm names, all kids agreed on Koda Family Farm, named after our beloved puppy.

The kids are hoping to add small inexpensive flower bouquets and garlic to the list of the items to sell. We are excited to teach our kids about business, budgeting and work ethic while having fun on our property!
